Join us for a one-of-a-kind educational workshop, presented by Katie Parker, Bright Pink educational ambassador and breast cancer survivor, that educates women and men on the basics of breast and ovarian health, provides concrete strategies for living a proactive lifestyle and offers tools to assess your personal risk for breast and ovarian cancer.
Mayor Steve Allender's office will be presenting a proclamation for Breast Cancer Awareness month before the workshop begins!
Bright Pink is on a mission to save women’s lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering them to live proactively at a young age. They target 52 million women between the ages of 18-45, as well as those who love and support them. The focus is on health, rather than cancer, in order to inspire women to practice prevention. By implementing programs, initiatives and partnerships, they are able to reach women in their daily lives and providers in their daily practice.
