The Garage Concert Series, sponsored by The Numad Group, and hosted at The Garage, proudly presents Peter Himmelman on Wednesday, April 26 at 7pm. Special guest opener to be announced.
Minnesota-bred, L.A.-based singer/songwriter Peter Himmelman describes his music as “just chronicles of my life at a given period of time. I’m essentially a journalist. I write as I see things and I try to report objectively.”
Himmelman first surfaced on the American music scene in the Minneapolis New Wave band Sussman Lawrence before moving on to create a uniquely diverse musical career. He’s best known as the thought-provoking singer/songwriter that the San Francisco Chronicle described as someone who “probes the depths of all the passions, from anguish to lust, to depths few rockers can even imagine.” He has released a dozen rock albums since 1986: the first half dozen on major corporate record labels, others on smaller indies, others self-released.
Now, he comes to The Garage for an intimate evening of music in our historic former motor service building. Only 125 tickets will be sold.
Tickets are $15 plus tax and handling fees. Doors open at 6:15pm. All ages show. Seated show, first-come first-serve. Get tickets here.
